If These Floors Could Talk...

Hyde Park Homes Tour 2009 is set for Father’s Day weekend June 20-21.  If these floors, walls and windows could talk, the tales they would tell!  Six homes grace the tour this year ranging in age from the 1800’s to the 1900’s. 

Each house has its own character and charm to go with its unique story. The houses on display range from an 1890s two-story home that was moved to the neighborhood from the west campus area, a historic landmark home that has been faithfully restored yet modernized for 21st century living, and homes that acknowledge their roots while adding complementary additions that do honor the integrity of the house and the neighborhood.  Find out about energy efficient additions that earned 5-star ratings from Austin’s Green Building program.

Enjoy live music as you tour the homes and indulge at the lemonade stands that dot the neighborhood.  Visit the arts and crafts market showing work from local artists.

Tickets

• Buy $15 tickets in advance using your credit card or PayPal account.
• Purchase advance tickets at NeWorlDeli - 4101 Guadalupe Street, June 1st? to 19th.
• Tour Days: Tickets may be purchased at the start of the tour where??.    Adults $17, Seniors (65 and over) $15.
• Children under 10 free.

Parking and Transportation

Parking is available where?.

Air-conditioned mini busses will shuttle between the houses throughout the tour (see map of tour route).
